Since 1984, I've been working as a freelance TV post-production/dialogue script editor for Bourne Associates. From 2000, I have also been working as a freelance journalist, contributing to a variety of magazines - the main one being FHM - which is truly enjoyable (although, to be honest, probably less exciting than it actually sounds).
Now I'm 4 years into my glorious 5 year photography plan and I'm actually ahead of where I intended to be at this point. I'm lucky enough that I have been regularly published in magazines such as Scarlet and now work as a syndication photographer for Celebrity Pictures as well as a test photographer for top London fashion agencies Oxygen and MandP. I also do portfolio work, so if you are interested, please get in touch for rates.
On the downside, the journalism has tailed off somewhat, there seems to be a general slump in the market and more than one of the magazines I used to work for has folded. Hopefully 2007/2008 will see an upswing again, but there's no doubting it's a tough time to be a journalist at the moment.
