I've written for a variety of other publications, details of which are listed below.

Other Magazines, BIOGRAPHY:

  • SFX, Issue 81: August 2001: A book review of Darcsyde Productions’ Corum™ RPG. Three years later and there’s still no sign of the Hawkmoon supplement (even if I do have a galley copy). In terms of £s per hour, reviews are surprisingly lucrative…
  • Inquest, Issue 59: December 1999: Legends - Memoth, Vampire Aberration. I must admit that I wasn’t keen on the artwork - it was given wings, for a start. The name comes from a novel called Melmoth the Wanderer, written by Irish Clergyman Charles Maturin. My original concept of Memoth - as basically a walking, two dimensional full body mask - was considered ‘too weird’. I took that as a compliment, coming from a magazine run by gamers.
  • H.O.T (Harper's On Trade), Issue 22: May 2002: Metropolitan - Steel Pulse. A concise and pithy review of bars and restaurants in The Steel City. If you ever find yourself in Sheffield and looking for a decent place to eat, then I heartily recommend the three mentioned in the piece: Vito’s, The Vicarage and Thyme. Expect to pay about £20 per head at Vitos, around £40 at Thyme and around £90 at The Vicarage.
  • FullHouse, Issue 38: Sept 2006: “Food Curious Food” Lorena Linx comes clean about her bizarre eating habits. She also sings whale song to herself. She is lovely, but crazymad, bless her.
